Venue and accommodation
Held at a private venue in the Forest of Dean.
The setting
Brother Nature takes place at a peaceful private venue surrounded by woodland and nature.
There are comfortable indoor spaces for workshops and group activities, woodland and outdoor areas, and quiet places to sit.
Outdoors, the site includes flat areas, slopes, uneven ground, noticeable inclines and some steps.
Brother Nature is a sober residential. No alcohol or recreational drugs are permitted on site.
The venue welcomes people of all spiritual backgrounds and none, which matters for a community that often carries complicated histories with faith and institutions.
We keep the exact location private until your place is confirmed, to protect the privacy and safety of participants. Full travel information is provided to confirmed attendees.
Getting here
The nearest train station is Gloucester. We run a complimentary shuttle from the station to the venue, so you do not need to arrange the final part of the journey yourself.
There is parking at the venue, including accessible parking.
There is good Wi-Fi across the site, which may matter if you need to stay in contact with a carer, use health apps or reach support while you are here.
Accommodation
There are no single-occupancy bedrooms.
Most bedrooms sleep two or three men and are en-suite.
There is one larger room for up to six, with bathroom facilities directly beside it.
